Years 1 & 2

In our Year 1 and Year 2 classes, Literacy and Numeracy form an integral part of students’ learning.   During Literacy, students are exposed to learning experiences that further develop speaking, listening, reading and writing.   In Numeracy, skills and understanding in number, algebra, measurement and geometry are developed. Students are engaged in hands-on activities that are related to real-life experiences.  Students participate in Inquiry Learning which promotes investigation of questions, problems and issues that are significant to them.
